How to stop planning and controlling

On how to release the need for things to be a certain way in order to be happy. How to stop planning and controlling.

If you won a “Go to work with Oprah for the day ” sweepstakes would you care at all what you did, where you ate, and what car you took on that day or would you just be so amped that you’re hanging with Oprah that none of what happened or how, would matter to you?
How about God? If you got to ride shotgun with the Creator for a day would you dare complain about anything!? Would you be so in awe at the situation that you’d have no preference at all… Just glowing at how cool each moment was no matter how simple?

Why then do we have such a hard time letting go of our preferences and needing things to be a certain way on our normal day to day?

If we would have no problem going with the flo and being happy just because in one situation why not the other…
or all?

What’s going to really bake your noodle is realizing that you aren’t riding shotgun with God, your ego and belief system is, and You (along with everyone and everything else in this world) is God.

So then the question becomes:
If You as God were cruising around to check in on how your creation is interacting evolving etc. how would you see your world? Are you seeing it like God would? Amazed … Chuckling and smiling at how epically all the variations of free will are manifesting ? Knowing full well that everything is in good hands and everything no matter how funky looking to others is going as planned?

Tonight while I meditated on my need to have things go a certain way for me to be happy, I was given this nugget.
I am grateful for it and know that it will help peel back a little more of an old identity of beliefs and reactions. I might report back on my own application of this visual….

I love you.
We are One.
